After observing the positive reception my previous short screenplay received here on Steemit, I decided to upload another one of my shorts for your perusal and enjoyment. This one I actually did shoot a few scenes back in 2014, but wasn't happy with the initial footage.
He stares down at the grapes left outside his door. Three grapes. After glancing up at the silent and empty neighbourhood, he slips silently back into his house. Susan and the kids still aren't up. He should go back out there and remove the grapes. But he can't just yet.
Mary sat in a daze, pulled over at the side of the road, waiting for the cruiser behind her. She had no idea pelicans could be cops. She glanced around her as the pelicans talked to each other in the car and wondered if maybe she should call her Grandmother and ask her advice...
Here is Kenneth's morning routine. It starts like this: after rising from his sleeping creche, Kenneth slips into his Smart Chair and allows it to take him to his Workout Station. Once he signs on to the Neural Network, all he has to do is call up the jogging App, leaning forward to facilitate the sub connection.
So I got a glass front door installed. Completely clear, that way I can see who's at the door when people call. Of course they can see me, but that's fine. If I don't want to talk to them I'll just keep watching TV and they'll get the message.
Watching Cindy from across the room, as she gazes at the mountains through their bedroom window, William can tell that she really does love the place. And he is quite happy to see that, since that was the point of bringing her up here, after all.
Frankie is sitting alone, on the edge of the stage in the shadows of Brother Earl's Comedy club. The place is completely empty, chairs upside down on the tables, not even a spotlight on him. Someone had left the microphone stand up on the stage, empty of course, just standing watch over him as he sits and broods.
